Just what it say's above, I'm connected with a ethernet cable running from my cable modem to a linksys wireless router, but I'm on a ethernet cable not wireless. This just started the other day, I try connecting to the net and it tells me there is no conection, so I reset the cable modem , dous'nt fix the prob. Then I reset the linksys router and bingo problems fixed. I go the internet do my thing and close out. Pc goes into sleep mode . I come back a hr or 2 later and have to reset router again. I have to do this all the time now, the other pc's in the house that use wireless still connect. The next thing I did was directly connected my desktop to the cable modem, no go dose not register a connection.Tried the repair and diagnose option and it tells me there is not internet connection. I am stumped.
