Vista to Windows XP Bridge will not work

Here is my setup.

Wireless USB to Vista x32 >

Vista 32 to Linksys Router >

Linksys Router to Windows XP Home >

USB > Vista > Router > XP

I have tried all forms to get this to work, including resetting the router after each.
I have tried simple ICS from the Wireless
I have tried the regular Bridge with the Wireless and LAN Connection.
I have tried to uncheck the wireless from the bridge, and share it that way.
**But it will not work unless I change the bridge "from" Automatically detect IP" to a simple 192.168.0.1

I did not have any trouble with the last setup I had, actually all I had to do was bridge the connections and reset the router.

Any insight would be helpful.

I also changed the workgroup from the Vista to MSHOME, same as the XP.
My XP says it is connected, but it will not access the internet.

I have my router set to 192.168.15.xxx, while the USB Internet is connecting from 192.168.0.xxx

Heyy,
welcome to Vista Forums! :party::party:

Try changing the router to 192.168.0.xxx, the same as the wireless usb.
That way they would be in the same IP band. Just a thought..

Also, are you connecting the wireless router up by usb or network cable?

Hope this helps,
Daniel =)
