Which type of router?

Hi guys, i recently moved house and i have gotten 15mb broadband which i was really pleased with and couldnt wait to use. However when it was installed it came with a router (im not sure which type it is). my house is quite long and has many walls between where the router must be and the furthest room (about 6 walls). I am just wondering is there a really strong router that will let me get broadband in this room as the one i got with it does not allow this. also will this router allow me to receive the full 15 mb? price is not really an issue as it is a shared house and it would be split 7 ways. thanks for any advice as routers aren't really my strong point!

Look for a N rated wireless router.

What are your walls made of? Sounds dumb, but concrete and internal wireing can mess with wifi.

Have you looked at internet via your home electricity plugs?
