I have two Vista machines running on a LAN. Both computers work from one subnet, but if I move them to another location I have no connection. One of the Vista machines has been up and running until last week. All of the XP machines are running fine.
DHCP is setup and the computer is pulling a new (correct) address when I change the physical location of the laptop. I have tried putting in static addresses with the same problem. When I look at the connection I have local only with no internet.
I cannot ping anything except myself from this machine. All of the tcp/ip connections and settings are correct. Please help. I have tried different ports, disabled Windows firewall, reinstalled the driver for the NIC, disabled DHCP flags.
