Solved need help in networking

hello frnds,

I have two desktop at my home. I want both to connect via LAN. I have broadband connection. what i have as hardware are:
1. Lan Card
2. Lan Cable
3. 8 port ethernet switch

i am ataching a image od all these hardware.

can i connect my both desktop with these hardware????

please guide me in detail.

Yes it is Possible all you need to do is to Place the Network card into the PCI Card socket and then Connect the Ethernet from the Desktop to the Back of the Router and not the Modem (Blue)

Note   Note
You are going to need 2 Ethernet cables to be able to connect both via LAN
