Dell inspiron 1525, out of warranty of course. I tried to print a coupon, it tried to download a program, computer told me to stop it, so I selected whatever was offered. Now, can't get a WIFI connection. Its there, but with Limited Connectivity, which means no internet. Tried restore to the day before, rebooting, selecting and or deselecting anything that looks like it has to do with connection. Not our internet, its working. use AT&T lightning USB on a modem for all needs. Please help, I work from home. its been 3 days.

Are you connecting through a wireless router or directly through the modem? If it's wireless router than right click on the 'Network' icon (bottom right hand corner with the little monitor) , then 'Network and Sharing Center' then 'manage Wireless Networks' and from there DELETE the network you used to connect to (as in whatever the name of your network is/was).
After that you can either restart the PC or right click on the 'Network' icon again and Windows will show you all the available wireless networks again including the one you once connected to.Then proceed with the setup of wireless connection as if though it was your first time.Fill in the WEP/WPA password/paraphrase and see if this works. Also you could reset your wireless router but i don't mean just unplug it from the wall for 1 minute. There should be a RESET button (which is really really tiny) in the back of the router (most likely). This will COMPLETELY reset your router's settings to the point you're gonna have to run the installation wizard/CD all over again but hopefully this will take care of your problem.

did you try deleting you home network from you computer? so when you try to connect it treat's it as a new network. if you do this you might as well restart you router/modem at the same time.

Hello and welcome.

Right off the bat I would...

1. Run a full updated full scan using your system anti-virus...
2. Download and run a full scan using malwarebytes here is the link, download there free version, Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download...

After I did these first then I would check into the wifi problem, if by small chance you do have a virus or malware you don't want it to dig deeper on your system. LOL
