hi
I am using follwoing msg command in windows Vista to send customized message to another computer on LAN -
msg /server:10.1.1.110 helpdesk " test "
It is working fine when i send it to my computer but when i try to send message to other computers in domain /LAN it gives me following error :
" username does not exists or is disconneted " .
its working fine individually on both the computers but messages are sent between them using msg command.
Is it necessary to create a telnet server physically and then add users in that server, then only it will send message ...
