Solved Tring to share folders to WDTV Live

Ok so I have a WDTV LIVE box and run my files through the network to it usually. I have 2 seperate extrnal hard drives attached to the computer (2TB Seagate FAT 32 & 2TB WD NTFS). The Seagate is my oldest one and has always shared with the WDTV fine but when I recently purchased the new WD one and hooked it up it and applied sharing to it by right clicking it and selecting share... -> Advanced Sharing -> Share This Folder. But it does not show up on the WDTV.
What have I missed here that I clearly did on my first drive? Also if I try to connect to it from another PC on the network it says I do not have permission to access it. I do not have any passwords.
Please help...

I got it all working, the way I did it was formatting the WD drive to FAT32 and all is good

Hmmm, that's a bit disconcerting. I have the Gen1 WD for USB. No networking. But I routinely plug TB NTFS drives into a USB 2.0 docking station I have hooked to it. Have you tried WD forums? Seems strange it would only work with Fat32. I know some DVD players with USB connectors insist on Fat32. But that's a real bummer if I ever think about updating to Live.

I did a search on Fat32 but didn't come up with anything much.
