I was able to connect to my remote office computer which is running Vista 64 Bit using remote desktop until automatic updates were installed. Now I can no longer connect. I can use PC anywhere (but that is not efficient, nor do i like the interface.. VNC same) I have verified that PORT 3389 in the router has not changed, but when i do a port scan on it is is saying that it is unable to connect.

I have tried utilizing another computer on the network (LAN) and that can not connect either.

I have no troubles connecting to my server on the same network so iknow that it is not the router or the laptop..

Any assistance would be helpfull...

thanks.,,,

Welcome
Easy to resolve, with system restore go back to before the updates.
Now install updates one at a time and test. When you get to the problem, uninstall the update. Then mark to hide so it is not installed again.

You must set updater to inform and not install, so that you can install just the ones that are wanted.
