Internet Randomly Disconnects, Restart Only Solution...

Guys, I'm about to throw a brick at my PC. Honestly, if this problem is unsolvable I invite you all to my house to smash this thing up because it is honestly the most annoying problem I have ever had that seems to be without a solution.

I know that people seem to be asking this question literally 5 times a day but I haven't been able to have this fixed, and this has been happening for years and it has got to stop. I need specific answers and I haven't able to find any even with massive Google searches and spending hours upon hours looking for solutions.

So far I have found 0.

If you guys solve this or if this ever gets solved I will congratulate you all and nominate you for a noble prize.

The Problem: My internet keeps cutting out frequently and randomly and seems to cut out upon certain actions or opening certain programs. The only solution for this is to restart my computer.

- The iTunes web-store is a 100% guarantee that the internet cuts out instantly.
- YouTube is a 50% chance that after 5 minutes it will cut out.
- 25% in general the internet cuts out after 5 minutes when opening a certain page.

No, the problem is not related:

- To my actual internet connection. Works 100% of the time on other computers.
- To my Router. Works flawlessly on other computers.
- To my Modem. Works flawlessly again.

Cut the Internet by opening the iTunes store, opened an elevated Cmd, did a DNS flush, attempted to re-establish connection.

"additional networks could not be found." So it didn't help...

Again the only solution was to restart...

What happens if you connect with ethernet cable instead of wireless ?

I bet you if I was to use an ethernet cable not directed through the linksys wireless adapter that it would probably start working flawlessly. The problem is the fact I have multiple computers in my house that share a wireless connection, and I won't be able to test this out either because I don't have access to a phone line upstairs where this computer is based.

If you want some more information I think there might be some sort of connection problem with the USB adapter now that I think about it. When the internet connection cuts out (Keep in mind local is still connected for some reason), I can unplug it from its USB socket and place it in another one and sometimes it will start to work for a while before it cuts out again...

So, your usb adapter works fine on other computers ? Whoops. Do you have another USB wireless adapter to try out ?

I should give that a try actually. Hold on while I test out another adapter on this computer and test out the adapter I have on another computer.

Wow, I installed a new device and it seems to have done the trick. No promises yet though, but it looks like this could be a success.

I'll update the status on this in 24hours to see if anything goes wrong. If not, consider yourself a noble peace prize nominee. d:
