Hi everyone,
I reinstalled a Belkin wireless adaptor F6D4050 CD on to my computer because i reinstalled windows vista and everything came off, but when the CD prompts me to insert the wireless adapter, the green light comes on the adapter but nothing comes up on the computer and it still prompts me to insert the wireless adapter. So i came to the conclusion that the adapter doesn't work anymore. It use to work previously before i reinstalled windows vista.

Please could somebody help me with this problem

Have you tried removing the adaptor and installing it when prompted by the CD installation procedure?

Yes i have and when i inserted the adapter, it still prompts me to put it in.

Do you have UAC turned on? You could try turning it off.

Which anti-virus do you have. You might try disabling it and any security functions.
