Network Security Key won't save

I am trying to make a new wireless connection, however the network security key keeps reverting to the old password, no matter how many times I try to save the new one. What is wrong?

Try this: wireless networking - Make Windows forget a network connection password? - Super User
You will have to reconnect to your network after doing this!

Well you can use HitMan Pro to remove the infection first and then go to the routers page, Change the key format from WPA to WEP. Then reboot the router. Once you reboot then it will ask for the new password to add the computer on the Network
