Network icon in Notification Area

Could you give us a few more details on your problem please? If you're concerned about the network icon being in your system tray, then it's nothing to worry about

The network icon has disappeared from my notification area and I would like to get it back if possible.

I had problems with hyperlinks for Outlook and had fixed this as well as downloading SP3 for MS Office

Go to search by the start button, type notification area and then set the network icon the way you want it.

In case if the steps mentioned by richc46 do not work, please follow the link for MS fix it for Network icon in Notification Area: System icons do not appear in the notification area in Windows Vista or in Windows 7 until you restart the computer
