| Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit | Corsair Dominator Airflow Fan I have the Corsair Dominator Airflow Fan installed on my pc. I take power from the motherboard(power fan). The question is... Which one is better?take power from the motherboard or direct from the power supply? |

| Vista Ultimate SP2 x64 : Seven Ultimate x64 | Re: Corsair Dominator Airflow Fan It depends on how many other fans you have connected, if your overclocking etc. Basically, the less power the mobo has to draw, the better for system stability / longevity. If you aren't overclocking your CPU and/or RAM then it's fine connected to the mobo. |

| Vista Ultimate x64, SP2 | Re: Corsair Dominator Airflow Fan Hello panais, I have mine connected to the motherboard, and have no problems when it's running. The problem i have is keeping it running. I'm on my second in as many months, and that one has just started making a noise, so i might just give up on their cooling fans. Cant say I'm impressed. Anyhoo, after my experience, i would connect it to the MB, as they do seem prone to failure. Hope this helps, good luck. |
