Your good part of the score is your cpu score. If youre running your sigs rig... but your sigs confussing

You really should run 3dVantage as 3dmark 06 is old. But I seen a 5000pt jump with my sli in vantage.

Try vantage and show the results.

I'd try 3dvantage just to make sure as 3dmark06 might not have the proper setup for xfire.

downloading it now, i think mark06 is only benifiting from the extra memory, therefore the reason for the 3000 increase if not idk

I think its the program though... I got a 4k on sli boost with gtx260-216 if i run them at stock on 3dVantage.

What you can do to see if theyre both kicking on is use gpu-z and log the datata. The leave it running as you run 3d mark06. The data will show if both cards are running while 3dmark.

ORB - Search Benchmark Results is the lisdt for 5830s... if you look, 1 5830 and a x6 is 18k. a 5830 and a x4 is 13k, a xfire 5830 and x4 is 19k.

Found a x6 and 5970 at 21k... and i would not expect 2 5830 to out do that.

ORB - Compare is an x6 and xfire 5850s. its at about 21k

So I still think youre in the ball park.

i see what u are saying about the processors. but my problem is with the card
i upgraded my motherboard cause it didn't support x16 times 2, now i gota say that from switching from x16 x4 to x16 x16 nothing has changed they both are around 20-19k

i have concluded that 1 card is using the processor and the other card is not using its processor and the card is only getting extra ram which gives the boost.

is crossfire only suppose to work with 1 processor or both? cause im only seeing 1 processor move on usage

You do realize that going from x16/x4 is not a big difference from x16/x16, and nearly 0 change from x16/x8

Only 480s/580s/ and 5890s will come close to filling the full bandwidth of the pci-e... but anyway...

xfire should have both cards running at the same load. Which my last post was about, load on the gpu chip, not the cpu.

I got 1 run done on my single card and scored a 14830, I didn't get to do a sli run, but will later, possibly tommorrow.

I'll check how 3d mark06 runs the sli config with gpu-z.

What brand of psu is it?

Okay I made a couple runs, and really didn't get too great of an increase either... i still think its 06.

Question on your gpu-z screens... were they taken while 06 was running? as i noticed, and I did the same thing... It won't update the graphics while its in the back ground... see how the box isn't checked off? So it might have technically run fine, just not changed the picture....
