    Control Fan speed with registry help

    i have an HP pavalon DV9700 and it overheats quick

    iv been following this but now i am stuck at editing the .aml

    control fan speed with registry hack

    i cant figure out where my fan speed value is

    .asl file attached to help me find it.

    I don't think its possible, although I have no experience in overclocking, one of the comments on that tutorial is:

    SpeedFan was made with desktops in mind. Notebooks control the fans differently compared to desktops. It will not work.
    Is your laptop in a well ventilated place? Have you considered getting a cooling mat? Is the fan nice and clean? That last one is very important, my laptop was reaching 89 celsius before I removed the crap from the fan, now it reaches 58

    Have you tried playing with speed fan?

    No reg editing, just setting a program.
