Hey all :3 long time.

Cutting to the chase:

I purchased a HIS HD 7770 GHz edition upgrading from my S***ty last generation HD 6450.

Core speed is default at 1000MHz Mem is default at 1125Mhz.

If I increase sliders even a little bit (in AMD Overdrive (which has safe limits)) I get the error: Your Display Driver has stopped responding and recovered. This is when I'm not even gaming, just with a window open. Temps are fine at 26c...

Your thoughts?

I'm thinking that it's sat its maxed overclock with stock voltages.

Which is sorta what i'd hope to see, as paying for an overclock that wasn't maxed would make me sad.

Yeah but people who have reviewed the exact same card can raise core and mem speeds
