Hi Mathews,

You might check in the Reliability Monitor to see if it can give you any leads on where the error is from. Just select the red x for the day you ran the report, then the report should be under it. This tutorial will show you how.

How to Troubleshoot the Computer with Reliability Monitor in Vista

You can also look through your Event Viewer logs to see if anything shows up for the time and date you ran the Windows Experience Index. It will probably be in one of the Windows Logs.
1. Open the Start Menu.
2. In the white line (Start Search) area, type eventvwr and press Enter.
3. Click the Continue button for UAC prompt.

For either one, look for what the error says and investigate it.

If all else fails, you can do a Repair Install.

yea dude...well its not hacked..its genuine..and it started happening after i installed my 6200turbocache...normally i jus got an 8400 gs...but i got this from my friend for a present...when i installed it...it installed the drivers, and my screen froze up..and had to reboot...now under my device manager ..there is no more 6200turbo because i removed it and all the other drivers i thinkk...hopefully...well this sucks..right when everythin was goin great..
aight guys thanks..im gonna try again

My Computer

lol the less detailed chkdsk seems to work..no drive problems...maybe an error in uninstalling the graphics card??...the reason that struck me tho...was the error came up when it was assessing the HDD..maybe that has nothin to with it, but jus wanted to let u know

My Computer

oh yeah..shawn...i did the sfc /scannow...and it said there were some corrupt files, but windows couldnt repair them..any idea on what to do, or just leave it alone?
