Re: Yahoo Messenger always hang

Hello Yahoo Messy users,

I have Vista 64 bit Ultimate and have been using Yahoo Mesenger 9.0 beta (it supports 64 bit) for over a month and voice chat works too. No problems at all. Here is what I did.

1. Install Yahoo Messenger 9.0 beta. I found this by going to yahoo.com then in search type in Yahoo Messenger 9.0.

2. Reboot

3. There is a codec you need to download/install for the voice chat to work.
Download it here http://www.bytescribe.com/downloads/...ec_install.exe

4. Reboot.

5. Yahoo Messy should work fine now.

Re: Yahoo Messenger always hang

Not only in Vista, I used to get this problem in Windows XP too. I don't know what's wrong with Yahoo messenger, sometimes it just doesn't want to work properly. Thanks for the tips
