| Newbie Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Re: Vista and Citrix It's for our company web portal (so that remote users can open apps like Outlook, our mainframe). When I click to open an app, it give an error saying that the connection was interrupted and to try again later. I've tried installing the most recent client software from Citrix, but it gives the same message. The IT guy is stumped. I guess I was hoping for someone with Citrix connections to be lurking somewhere! |

I have road warriors (laptop users) use a direct ICA connection to a Citrix server (fullscreen) which gives them a desktop and they can access Outlook/excel/word/internet/Network drives/printers that way. Citrix support form is the best on the Web Client problems. I would try there. Raj |

We have numerous 64bit Vista machines that connect to PS4 and PS4.5 servers, and even a Metaframe XP. We use both the web client and full client. We use published apps, as well as desktops, and have never had the issue you are describing. You only have this problem with Vista 64bit clients? |

Although, the 10.0 client is actually a better choice right now. 10.1 has a bunch of odd issues, which they have a fix for, but aren't releasing as a public hotfix until the 10.2 client at the earliest. The 10.15 client did fix some of the problems, but still did not include the other fixes. |
