What folder can I install Photoshop CS2 to?

Greetings!

I'm trying to install Photoshop CS2 and the installer fires up and tells me

The folder you have selected is invalid. Please select another folder to install %s.

Is it safe to install a x86 program in the x64 program files?

Adobe is just setting up an installation folder first. Choose a location other than x86 such as C: or even better desktop. Then go to that folder and click setup and it will install. Then choose x86 as the program install location.

This does not work. I make a folder named Temp on the C drive and went from there since the install doesn't like Windows (x86) path. Well it installed PS in the Temp folder period!

I think I'm going to just have to create a folder named Photoshop and go from there.

Probably won't be until this weekend. So if somebody has a hot idea .. I'm game!! :D

I had the same problem, so all i did was to make another folder in the adobe folder and titled it photoshop CS2 then chose that folder when i got the message, no problems. It keeps all adobe products budled together
