| Newbie Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Re: Computer window gone mad! You need to delete the Explorer Shell settings history as the settings have gotten corrupted. You need to delete these keys in the Registry Editor: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\BagMRU and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags or If you want a quick fix; I am attaching a reg file you can run to do the same thing automagically. Remember, be careful when editing the registry, you can break your computer if you delete/modify the incorrect thing, etc. Also, rememeber you will lose you customized settings when you delete these but the benifits are worth setting your sorting and view types again. Once you delete the keys/run the reg file; Reboot, and all should be well! ![]() -Bryan |
