money 2001 stopped working on vista

Recently bought a computer with Vista Home Prem. Installed money 2001 and it ran great for 3 months, no problems. then suddenly one day it just stops working completely. i can't open any of the files. I get a brief "thinking" pointer and then nothing. I can't find any help on the internet or at microsoft. i've reinstalled, tryied compatibility mode, run as administrator, every suggestion i can find. nothing.

Hi Muldenator,
Your PC should have come with a Microsoft Money cd. If so you can reinstall the program and if prompted choose "repair".

Yes, i have the cd. I've reinstalled several times trying different things. "repair" was what i did first to no avail.

Have you tried running it in XP compatibility mode?
