Unable to uninstall software!

Unfortunately I installed some freeware that was not compatible with Vista. Now I am not able to uninstall it. I select "uninstall" in the software, "allow" it and then I get a message: "NTVDM.exe has stopped working". I am not able to proceed with the uninstall procedure.
Any suggestions??

Have you tried Uninstall tool?
Perhaps it dosen´t work x64.

What was the piece of freeware you tried to run?
Looking at google ntdvm is a virtual machine for running 16bit apps on a 32bit system.
You can try two other things that have not been posted;
Try to re-install then uninstall the software or see if there is an update for ntdvm for 64 bit systems.
The only other thing I can think of is to manually uninstall the program.

Thanks for the advice. But, since the software program was small (a sound program) and I wasn't able to delete it easily with any of the suggestions, I decided to manually delete any files associated with it.So far I haven't encountered any problems.

You may need to look at redundant registry keys. But be careful your computer could end up fubar if done wrong. Always backup the registry.
