Vista - Major problem uninstalling Nero 7 Ultra on Vista x64

Hi

I tried putting Nero 7 ultra in my computer running Vista 64 Ultimate the other day - version 7.2.70 i think - but it wouldn't install due to being incompatible, so it cancelled the installer and stated that nothing had been modified and sorry i couldn't run the program on my version of Windows, fair enough.

I've now got Nero 8, but it will not install due to - yep you guessed it - Nero 7 being installed on my computer! It asks me to remove the older version before installing Nero 8, which i have done using the click yes to allow Nero to remove it and no for a manual removal by myself: also, i have Vista searched and removed all traces of Nero from my folders plus have run Wise reg cleaner AND manually checked msconfig/ regedit for any remnants to make sure i've got it all.

However, i still get the remove nero 7 before installing nero 8 message and the problem is this: nero 7 will not uninstall and i get this pop-up everytime:

Windows Installer has stopped working. Program will now close.

Then, followed by this:

Internal Error
Custom Action DLL crashed on last call in function
'NeroAg_UnregisterComEx'. The installer must now exit.

Any help before i take a running jump out of my windows whilst clutching my freshly smashed PC tower will be greatly appreciated!

Never mind, i've sorted it out: just restored to the day before i put Nero 7 in and then Nero 8 went in perfectly.

Nero having a trial period, it's probable it hides an entry to stop people having several "trials".
