I keep having to reenter my password, 3 or 4 times a day, when 'send and receive' kicks in (not every time). Obviously, both when I set up the account and each time I get the prompt, I checked "save the password". What's the problem?

I think it's an error originating from your ISP. Whenever a check mail function fails, it will ask for a password. Contact your ISP and tell them their email server is causing errors.

You're the second person to say that. Just today I realized the problem. I had the dsl filter on the phone line in the wrong place, actually the one I had was in the right place but I needed another one for the other outlet. Again, I appreciate the help.
