| Newbie Rep Power: 11 ![]() | Windows Installer tries to install Adobe over and over again at boot up My version of Adobe Acrobat Pro 6.0 (I know it is not supported by Adobe) installs sufficiently so that I can use it (mostly). However the request for install the program is still in the Windows Installer. So each time I boot, I need to cancel the install of Adobe since it doesn't do anything, even when I let it run to completion. How do I find and rid myself of the command that tries to install Adobe each time I re-boot the system??? Windows Vista 64 bit, running on an Intel duo-core system with 4GB RAM. Thanks Rick |

I straightened things out by using this KB utility. It might work for you too: Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility |
