muvee producer

Hi all.

Can someone please clue me in as to
if this "muvee producer" is part of the OS ???

Attachment 3186

Or if it is part of the bloat that came with
my OEM machine?

Thanks Ted

Second Time Around

Hi all, I originally posted this in the software forum, HERE
but I never got even one reply, so I figured I would try it here!

This is in C: Program Files.

Attachment 3249

It came installed on my OEM machine and I am trying to find
out if it is something I can delete from this entry? Seeing the MS
entries I want to make sure it is not something that can't be deleted.
I uninstalled it in Programs & Features but the entry won't be gone!
So I can remove the entry in CCleaner but that doesn't get rid of the
bits and pieces left behind that I am trying to clean up. Like this.

Can someone please help me figure this out???
Thank you very much!

Re: muvee producer

Hi Ted,

It is not part of Vista or a Microsoft product. It looks like it is a trial version of this program here:

muvee - Instant Home Movie-Making & Photo Slideshow Software - muvee autoProducer

You can safely delete these files. However, manually deleting the files will usually not get all of the files installed by a program since they may be installed in more than one location on the hard drive and registry.

I would do a thorough non-indexed scan using muvee on your hard drive to see if it can find any other files that may be related to this program.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: muvee producer

Your welcome Ted. It's no trouble. I just hope you can find all of the left over remnants of that program.
