Re: Increase hard drive space

Hi,
Try under properties of your hard drive and the general tab - tick the box for "compress this drive to save disk space".
But realy it is much more efficient to purchase another hard drive.

Hello Steve,
It's probably too late for me to say. DO NOT compress the Recovery drive, in most computers it's the D : drive which is partitioned to do exactly that --- recovery.

Re: Increase hard drive space

When I need more space, I just buy another external hard drive. I try and keep as little on my main hard drive as possible, since the more crap you have cluttering the hard drive your OS is on, the slower the system seems to get.
