Quicktime A/V Controls

Hey guys,
I've noticed that when I change the A/V settings in Quicktime (Window>Show A/V Controls), that the settings don't get saved and they revert to default once I close Quicktime. So since it's a little annoying have to adjust the A/V every time I open up Quicktime, do you guys know of a way to save them as default?

3 years later and still no answer. I haven't found a way to keep the settings. I'm particularly interested in the contrast setting. Using my graphics drivers to control Quicktime's settings is unacceptable as they don't give the same results

yeah, nothing :(
i have the brightness, color, contrast, and tint controls, but i can't find a way to set my adjustments as default. all i really need is to give a little more contrast, and i would like to have it set that adjustment as standard, since it happens to all the trailers i play.

i think there is no solution, unless someone knows how to manipulate the internal quicktime files on windows. that would be the most likely fix.
