Re: Riva FLV Encoder APPCRASH

problem solved, the Fault Module Name: StackHash seems to be a DEP error apparently

I fixed by turning off DEP for this program!

Hope this helps anyone else in the future

Re: Riva FLV Encoder APPCRASH

I followed everything and I haven't had any luck.

Just so you know, I went to:
Start>Control Panel>System and Maintenance>System>Advanced System Settings>Performance>Settings>Data Execution Prevention

I then clicked on "add" a program, found the executable file for the Riva Encoder (.exe) added it to the list, and restarted my computer. STILL NOTHING. I get the same error message that the encoding failed. Is it because I have the Home Premium edition?

Re: Riva FLV Encoder APPCRASH

Okay, I think I fixed it. As weird as it is, I disabled DEP, then uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. It was never taken off the DEP list and now it works.

So, install Riva Encoder. Disable DEP. Uninstall and then reinstall, and now it works. Weird.
