| Vista Ultimate x64 | WinRAR Shell Integration Problem I am running WinRAR 3.71 with x64 Vista Ultimate. The program runs fine, however I am unable to get the shell integration to work. It was enabled and I reset it, right clicked on a rar file and it still was not showing me the options of WinRAR. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 MAK, OpenSolaris 5, Gentoo 2008.1.... | Re: WinRAR Shell Integration Problem Actually, run WinRAR with administrative privileges, and then do as BladedThesis suggested. It's why you should let the installer run WinRAR when you install it and set your options then - because the installer runs with admin level privileges, and thus, when it runs WinRAR as a child process, grants the same level of privileges to the program - allowing you to make modifications. If that does not work then you may need to uninstall and re-install as r2rX suggested. |

| Windows Vista™ Ultimate | Re: WinRAR Shell Integration Problem OK I ran into a problem with Winrar... If I use the "split to volume, bytes" option and select "DVD+R 4481MB" it creates a file too big for NTFS making it completely undeletable . Used boot-disks, safe-mode and DOS and its still there...Guess im going to format the drive tonight :< |
