| Newbie Rep Power: 3 ![]() | WinRAR Shell Integration Problem I am running WinRAR 3.71 with x64 Vista Ultimate. The program runs fine, however I am unable to get the shell integration to work. It was enabled and I reset it, right clicked on a rar file and it still was not showing me the options of WinRAR. |

It's why you should let the installer run WinRAR when you install it and set your options then - because the installer runs with admin level privileges, and thus, when it runs WinRAR as a child process, grants the same level of privileges to the program - allowing you to make modifications. If that does not work then you may need to uninstall and re-install as r2rX suggested. |

If I use the "split to volume, bytes" option and select "DVD+R 4481MB" it creates a file too big for NTFS making it completely undeletable . Used boot-disks, safe-mode and DOS and its still there...Guess im going to format the drive tonight :< |
