| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Sonic Stage install problem For the SonicStage the OpenMG Module Box comes up and says,"OpenMG Module" then it freezes up. Before that, it would freeze up when Windows would try to configure it. The Install Wizard comes up and I try to cancel and it freezes up. "The Feature you are trying to use is on a network source that is unavailable." I click cancel and it freeze up. Or click to enter an alternate path to the folder containing the installation package opening secure module.msi. Again, freezes up. As I was turning off my computer, even though I could not close out the Sonic Stage trying to install itself, I got the message, "Windows Installer service is not correctly installed." Should I just delete SonicStage? |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | RE: Sonic Stage install problem Brean, The error mesage could have came because the computer was shutting down. Do you have problems installing anything else? Does Sonic Stage keep trying to install itself? The reviews on this program are not great. Plus it did not have Vista listed as a supported OS. These links may help you with it: 1. Answer 2. Answers (Page 1 of 4) Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: ZIP file in Vista Shawn: Before it was SonicStage on my computer, it was Roxio. Then last spring it change. I have a year old Sony Vaio. No, I haven't had any other problems installing other software; then again, I haven't installed that much. Should I just delete SonicStage? |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: ZIP file in Vista I feel like I should just delete it. Is it best to use Windows Media Player for music, buring CDs, ripping, et cetera? SonicStage has been a real problem! But I liked it before this happened. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: ZIP file in Vista WMP makes it easier to do these actions, but you can use any 3rd party program that you like instead if it supports Vista. It's just a matter of your preference. I do not know anything about SonicStage, so you might see what suggestions you get on it from your other post I moved. Hopefully someone else that uses it may know of a solution to get that program working for you if it will run on Vista. Sonic Stage install problem You can try using Compatibility mode on it to see if it helps with Run as administrator and XP SP2 mode. Compatibility Mode Shawn |
