Doesn't that look like one of those pop-ups from spybot's teatimer?

Vista x64 is giving the message during an IE7 browser session with common web sites.
as the site is wanting to download something and vista is requesting permission. ..

should i already know intuitively what each site is trying to download to me?

thanks

Hi Sportsguy,

Yes it should have a name for the control it trying to load in IE, not a number or "CLSID" as its called...

Re: Is IE 7 trying to load a 32 bit addon when this message shows up?

what i can't do is a print screen copy of the popup box, and copy it to paint, or some other program. I tried that, and Vista won't let me. . .

I typed in the initial question exactly what shows up on the screen. . .

so what does that mean?

Can you use the Built-in Snipping Tool within Vista?

Checkout this tutorial: How to use the Snipping Tool in Vista

the popup window is in modal format, meaning that the o/s will do nothing else until the box is answered, which is why i tried cntl prnt scrn as its a keyboard combination

That sounds very odd to me, The only window you usually cant capture is a UAC prompt and nothing else but Snippit should be able to capture that window from IE
