Vista X64-BluRay and Power DVD Ultra 8

Just wanted you to know that I have installed LG 6X Super-Multi Blu Ray burner model # GGW-H20L, using Vista X64 Ultimate, and Power DVD Ultra 8.
This runs so amazing that I am completely replacing my DVD collection with Blu Ray.
The quality and sound is impeccable, and blows ordinary DVD's in the water.
I have attached a few screen shots from the movie Jumper for your viewing.

Re: Vista X64-BluRay and Power DVD Ultra 8

At BDs being at around $1 per disc, it is still a bit expensive - but, in reality, that is like $.04 per GB, so....it ain't all that expensive....

Using that same price per GB ratio, DVD blanks should cost about $.16-.20 per disc - or, for a pack of 50, $10 - and that is about right too....

Where are you getting this info from ??
BD's do not cost $1 per disc...more like $11-12 per disc, unless you made a numerical error when you posted.
For people's information,
BD-R's 25GB @ 1-2X speed cost approx. $11-12 per disc from RiDATA, 50GB(DL) @ 1-2X speed $40+ and only Sony and TDK currently makes those kind of discs.
I'm sure more will follow suit ...there's even Verbatim and FujiFilm too makes 25GB BD-R's.
