Vista - Spy Sweeper Compatability Issue(PLEASE HELP!)

I just bought a Sony Vaio and at the start up, i get this message, "This program is blocked due to compatability issues." I already clicked the "check for solutions" option. It said to update spy sweeper, but i cant open it to update it because windows keeps blocking it. And it also told me do download Service Pack 2, and I already did that. If anyone else had this problem and solved it, or just knows how to solve it, please let me know. I'd REALLY appreciate it. THANKS!!

Hi, DRE910, and welcome to the forums.

First of all, since it asks you to download SP2, I would like to assume that you have Windows XP on there, but that is a bit confusing, as I didn't think manufacturers would be selling machines without SP2 installed - so, can you verify what OS you are running? Because there is not an SP2 for Vista....

Or, did you mistakenly put SP2 and mean SP1?

Yea my bad. I meant SP1.

OK, if you have installed SP1, then just go to the Spy Sweeper website and get the latest version you should be able to install on top of your current installation without any problems.
