For all you people who have been looking for a way to get Vista's glass effect in Firefox, look no further. Here is an extension for Firefox 3 that will do it. (supports 32bit and 64bit FF versions)

Hi Skunksmash,

If you have the window maximized it doesnt show the seethrough effects, just like all other Vista themed Windows ;)

You can either just have the window minimized or look into the style patcher VistaGlazz here: Downloads | CodeGazer to allow for full glass effect even on maximized windows ;)

I didn't bother with the add-on as I have been using CodeGazers patch (both pre-SP1 and post Sp1 - I've even commented a couple of times on the blogs) - and that works perfectly.

In addition, it also has this really nice feature of making the taskbar go glassy as well....see my latest desktop to get a really good feel for it....

You have to download VistaGlazz to make maximized windows transparent too. Then the problem will be fixed.

Yeah i understood that but there's an issue with VistaGlazz and SP1.

Correct - VistaGlazz 1.1 Beta 3 works with SP1 - if you read the posts underneath you'll see where I actually reported (among others) when the original 1.0 broke with SP1.
