| Vista Ultimate x32 | How to Use and Create a Flip 3D Shortcut in Vista Last year on June 6th this topic was covered. I have followed the instruction to manually install, but it does not work. I have a new Dell PC with Ultimate 64 installed. I had the icon in the task bar, but somehow lost it and would like it back. Any suggestions? Thanks, LIT |

I think this might be what you are referring to - Flip 3D - Enable or Disable Just FYI, that is from the tutorials section, where many of the informational posts and such have now been collected. |

If you just lost the shortcut icon in Quick Launch, then that tutorial will not help with that. This tutorial below will show you how to create a new shortcut and put it back into Quick Launch. Flip 3D Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista Ultimate x32 | Re: How to Use and Create a Flip 3D Shortcut in Vista Hi Brink, First off, I'm no computer expert. so bear with me. I followed the tutorial, got the icon down in the bar, but it wouldn't work. Now this: Quick Launch Shortcut NOTE: It is called Switch between windows in Quick Lauch. Use the Tab or Arrow keys to scroll through the open windows, then press Enter to select the window in the front. Sorry to appear so dumb, but how do I get 'Quick Launch?' I assume this creates the same icon I couldn't get before and puts it into the taskbar next to the 'Show Desktop' icon? I see that 'Quick Launch' is ticked in the Taskbar Menu Properties, but where is it? Thanks in advance LIT |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: How to Use and Create a Flip 3D Shortcut in Vista No problem LIT, Do you have the Windows Aero color scheme selected? The shortcut will not work unless you do. This will show you how to. Color Scheme Quick Launch should be just to the right of the Start button on the taskbar. This will show you more about it with a screenshot to help more. Quick Launch Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista Ultimate x32 | Re: How to Use and Create a Flip 3D Shortcut in Vista Shawn, Lordy, why did I leave XP. LOL When I follow the steps as outlined, my screen becomes black or perhaps almost black edging to royal blue at the right end of the screen. This happened when I selected Aero. It was of course in the Classic Mode, which is where it is back to! I tried for another colour but nothing happens. Is everything so hard in Vista! Thanks for being so patient. LIT |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: How to Use and Create a Flip 3D Shortcut in Vista LIT, LOL, not always. Be sure to always read all of the information given in a tutorial. It contains important information that can help you succeed with it. For example, requirements for it to work. ![]() It will only work with Windows Aero. Do you have the latest video driver installed? If so, then you might try reinstalling it, and see if Flip 3D will work afterwards. It may have gotten corrupted. |

| Vista Ultimate x32 | Re: How to Use and Create a Flip 3D Shortcut in Vista Shawn, Somethings corrupted. I think it's my head ![]() I'm using a brand new (three weeks old) Dell PC so doubt it's the driver. Something else is wrong. I'll keep looking. Again many thanks for your help. LIT |
