Hey,

Does anyone know how to get rid of the browser tab in winamp 5.541(whatever the latest one is)? Also how do you remove/disable wmp11?

Cheers,
Joronamo.

I'm not sure about the browser tab that you speak of, as for deleting WMP11, it cannot be done. WMP11 is built into the OS and therefore cannot be deleted. The only suggestion is to associate all your media files with Winamp (or whichever media player you use) and ignore WMP.

Hope this helps

Hmm well I heard there's a way to disable wmp11 somehow, maybe that rings a bell? If you google image winamp bento you might the browser tab im speaking of, its in the middle of the interface after media library, video and visualisation.

Cheers,
Jordan.

But why would you want to disable WMP? Is it interfering with Winamp in some way?

Also, I can't tell you about the browser tab since I don't use Winamp. I'll let someone that knows more about that program help you there.

Are you sure you have correctly set Winamp as the default media player? WMP shouldn't be bothering you every time you open a media file.

I assume you mean the media library. Right click on the player interface, and unstick media library. You'l notice enable/disable options for other windows in that menu.

No I was just wondering if there a way to hide the browser tab...I hate uneccesary features in programs, especially ones involving ads ie the browser tab in winamp.

Cheers,
Joronamo.
