| Vista Home Premium 32but | Google Earth Stopped working? Hey guys.. Not sure if I should be asking a Google question here, but here it goes.... I had installed the latest version of Google earth for a while now and worked great from the start, but I have not used for about a month or so, and I decided to look something up last night and I am getting the MS error message "Google Earth has stopped working" when I launch it..... I have Vista Premium, and the only thing I can think of that has been updated with Vista is I updated my Intel G31 video drivers recently... I have also installed MS Virtual Earth (maybe MS is forcing G/E to not run so we have to use MS's Virutal Earth )The problem report in the control panel does not give any technical reason why it stopped working... thanks guys!.... |

| Vista Home Premium 32but | Re: Google Earth Stopped working? Hey guys.. I think I found the problem.. I was able to install an old version of GE 4.2, and it worked fine.. I was fooling around with the option, and when I changed the display type from DirectX to OpenGL, and re started the GE, I get the same error.. I have tried to find a GE.ini file to see about changing the option back to DirectX, but I can not find such a file.. Does GE have a ini file I can access?, if so, where??? |
