Vista - Problem with WP X3 or X4, Vista, and Outlook 2007

I saw a post on here about Outlook 2007 causing WordPerfect X3 to crash. I had the same problem with WP X3 and Vista Business 32 bit. I upgraded to WP X4 and the problem continued. I did a clean install of Vista Business x64 and all programs. The problem continues. If I read e-mail in Outlook, WP becomes unstable and crashes if I open a new blank document or close the last open document. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

What version of X3 do you have? I have WP X3 13.0.0.565 and Outlook 2007 installed with no problems here.

I am actually using WP X4 now. I had the problem with WP X3 the entire time I had it, and I kept it fully patched. I do not now know what version I had. WP X4 is version 14.0.0.603. I have seen several posts about other people having the same problem, but have not seen any posts with a solution. Do you use Outlook for e-mail? I am fine as long as I do not open/view an e-mail message in Outlook or if I close Outlook before opening a new blank document in WP. It is crazy and is driving me crazy. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I use Outlook 2007 for my email and address book. I've tried a number of things to try and duplicate the problem. From what I'm reading about other's problems, it seems to be specific to the Vista Business version (OEM and retail).

What version of Vista are you running? If it is limited to the Business version, maybe upgrading to Ultimate would solve my problem.

I did a fresh install of Vista Ultimate x64. The problem remains. I can use Outlook for calendar and contacts, but if I use Outlook to check and read mail, WordPerfect becomes unstable. WordPerfect support has been no help. Does anyone have any suggestions?
