Pidgin Problems

Hi I've recently switched to Vista Ult x64 from xp x64. Pidgin a multi client instant messenger that I had working under xp x64 is currently not working to well. It will allow me to sign on and connect to my buddylist (its aim in case that matters). But whenever I try to send a message to a friend it crashes. I've done everything I can think of, added it to windows trusted programs, reinstalled, even assigned it its own port. Does anyone have any ideas? (I would really hate having to reinstall xp x64 >.<)

Thanks

Re: Pidgin Problems

Have you tried downloading the latest version of Pidgin again? I downloaded Pidgin and got it to run without issue on Vista x64 using all three of my IM accounts - AOL, Google, & Yahoo.
