.NET Framework 3.5 SP1

I can't install .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 because of this:

[10/09/08,17:24:17] Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0SP1 (CBS): [2] Error: Installation failed for component Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0SP1 (CBS). MSI returned error code 1060
[10/09/08,17:24:18] WapUI: [2] DepCheck indicates Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0SP1 (CBS) is not installed.

But when I downloaded and tried installing .NET Framework 2.0SP1 I've got this error:

This product is not supported on Vista Operating System.

What should I do? :confused:

Check do you have:
Cryptographic Services is turned on
Windows Update is turned on

I looked around and it turns out that if you do not have the Windows Live update service turned on, you cannot install the framework. I turned mine on and it worked right away.
