| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: error message while installing The problem is that the C:\ProgramData\Start Menu folder is a hidden protected operating system file. You will need to take ownership of only that folder and allow your user account full permission. Afterwards, see if the program can install with the Run as administrator option. When finished change the folder owner back to System. Hope this helps, Shawn |
