I am trying to install ADobe Reader 9, keep getting error 1317, any help much appreciated.

Turn off automatic Windows updates and re-download Adobe Reader 9. Try install again. Re enable auto updates after Adobe installs correctly.

Trying to install Adobe 9, Jim R suggested disable auto updates and re-download and install, auto updates isn't on, but tried anyway no success same error. Am running vista home premium, anybody any ideas?
