I have a couple of problems:

1. I get this annoying dialog box coming up when windows starts saying:

Exception Processing Message [hex number] Parameters [hex number][hex number][hex number][hex number]

I think its something to do with my c-media card reader.

2. I was messing about with services this morning and now I cant view my hard drives in Computer Management, Disk Management.

Managed to figure out the second issue. I had disabled Remote Registry which according to the description appeared to allow administrators to access the registry from another computer but it appears to be required for accessing the Disk Manager.

Had a brief look but I dont like to venture in there too often :o

So I did some further research and it seems that just by changing the drive letter of your dvd drive makes it go away and in indeed it did!

Try a restore.
Have you looked in the tutorials here to see if there is something that will help.
You may need to go into start/computer (right click) manage
you can change the drive letters this way.
Change it back and hopefully all will be well.
