Vongo and Spybot 2009

Suddenly, I have (had...took me a while to remove all files) both Vongo and Spybot 2009 in my downloads folder. What are these (my internet search was confusing)and who is/are responsible for them getting a foothold in my system? HP? or Vista? Who?

Addendum: I started getting suspicious when my PC started acting up. I am now back to normal since deletions. Are they bad stuffs?

From the looks of it you can thank HP for Vongo,

As for Spybot 2009, the real Spybot S&D knows about it,

From looking around a bit this one appears to be a possible new variant on the old Vista/XP Antivirus 2008/2009 which if it is (and you haven't used it yet) can be removed using Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware,

Re: Vongo and Spybot 2009

I never got to use either one because I started noticing some "acting ups" that made me suspect some malware have invaded my system...and those were the ones I found suspicious because I had probs removing them. I had to resort to manual removal.
