this Xmas I got a tv receiver for my laptop (i am running home prem 32bit with media center) i have installed the drivers and such for the receiver and it works great with both the program provided and media center however the program provided lacks the ability to schedule record so i went to media center only to find that the guide was not in TV + Movies. I would like to know why it is not there. i've tried everything but the only thing that i thought might work, doing the guide set up, did not work because it said " guide listings not available, TV Program Guide listings are not available for your country or region"
i was wondering if this was my problem or if this is yet another muck up my micro$hit
also if this is an issue i cannot resolve, is there any way to schedule a recording without using the guide (as in enter when to start and stop recording and which channel to record?
