Easy DVD Clone stops burning at 99%

Hi,
I am trying to run Easy DVD Clone on a vista computer. The decryption happens through a DVD Fab software which transfers the video ts folders to a location that Easy DVD Clone can then read from.

The initial process works fine and it transfers the files to a temp location but then when it tries to burn it to a DVD, the process stalls at 99% and right after I get the pop-up window stating "Easy DVD Clone has stopped working". This happens with all DVD's.

Do you know why this maybe the case and if this a vista related issue? I have already disabled my virus protection software as someone has suggested somewhere that it may cause a problem and I also deleted some other dvd burning softwares that I had on there but the result is much the same.

Regards,
Isaac.

I get the same thing when I try to run my dvd software. I always get this message. I get 99% done with fixvht and i get this too. I want to know what the problem is. Maybe Vista doesnt want people to back up DVD's b/c they think we'd pirate them???

Well it seems like a vista issue and I was hoping that service pack 1 would help. But that did not do much good either. Also each time it fails it complains about a different dll so even the errors are not consistent except that it fails at 99% every time.

Does anyone know what vista bug is this one related to and how to fix it?

afa the burning goes, have you tried Imgburn?
It's free and has 64 bit versions. I use the 32 bit on my Vista Home Premium 32 bit all the time.

Thanks but Imgburn does not work with copyrighted dvd's so it would not do much with the encryption.

DVD Fab does the decryption but then you need some other software to burn it that can work with some of the encrypted content which imgburn cannot work with.

You can decrypt with DVD fab, run it trough DVD shrinker, then burn it with a burning program like Deep Burner or what ever one you like.

Actually I tried that, dvd fab decrypts it but it seems it still leaves some pieces behind because when I tried to use Amok dvd shrinking software on it, the thing did not work. It complained about finding some encryption and just did not do anything.

Also imgburn would not burn an image off of those files since there probably is still some encryption. So the only combo that seems to work is dvd fab and easy dvdclone which also stops working at 99%. So maybe I need to buy the dvd fab platinum which may do the trick!!
