Re: Tuneup utilities 2009 problems

Hi,

I'm not familiar with that app. but it's a fair bet it has removed some registry entries and possibly some shortcuts , too.

Check and see if it has a restore type option somewhere - it may have made backups which can be restored.

Otherwise, try a system restore to a point before the problems started.

System Restore - How to

Hope it helps

Re: Tuneup utilities 2009 problems

You might check to see if it makes it's own backups - they usually do, like this one I use

Otherwise, I would suggest a Repair install, but you need the proper M$ install dvd for that.

A System File Check and repair is worth running, d/l this app. :

Re: Tuneup utilities 2009 problems

Hi fastboy,

You're welcome - glad it's all working for you.

If you want to use an all in one utility, you might try this - it makes backups, although it works well for me and I have never had a problem with it. Also includes a good undelete function.

It's free from here :

Glary Utilities

If you want the no toolbar version (the one I use ) click on Other Builds and d/l from there.
